Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule and control the daily operations of the heavy equipment assembly Sections
• Manage technician in the execution of mechanical equipment assembly works with the desired quality, lowest cost, using the most efficient methods, safest process to ensure prompt delivery
• Ensure material availability for the jobs
• Initiate, assign work and monitor jobs to the technician every morning and throughout the day
• Initiate corrective actions for non-conforming jobs by liaising with the relevant person involved
• Preparation of the required reports and ensuring the discipline of technicians Initiate recommendation for purchase of service/ tooling/ work equipment when the need arises
• To manage good housekeeping practice of the workshop and premise

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skill on mechanical equipment is essential
• Minimum three years hands-on experience, preferable with hands-on hydraulics equipment assembly and servicing experience
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
• Aggressive and able to work under pressure
