Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop engineering team to meet the demands of design engineering and continued product quality, performance, delivery, and technology.
• Direct, plan and coordinate complex project engineering assignments entailing technical specifications and the preparation of detailed plans.
• Lead a team of engineers and engineering assistant to Undertake detailed engineering and interfacing work
• Ensure product is of an acceptable quality and in accordance with company specifications; investigation of hydraulic product quality issues.
• Final approval for engineering drawings and documents ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Ensure Engineering Standards are up-to-date. Part role in ensuring compliance to ISO9001 in process and documentation control.
• Identify design shortcomings and recommend improvements
• Responsible for Engineering department budget, resources, hardware, software, scheduling, priority setting, and communication.
• Liaise with Production, Project, Procurement and Application/Estimating

Job Requirements:

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic or related fields.
• Min 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Engineering Management working directly with project engineering teams dealing with hydraulic equipment for offshore services.
• Strong technical knowledge in all the engineering disciplines
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent planning and organizing skills and good sense of urgency.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills in managing a team of engineers and assistants in performing daily engineering tasks

Candidates with manufacturing experience in hydraulic products would be preferred.
